Roofing & Exterior Repairs
The outside of a property is what keeps the inside dry, so exterior faults rarely stay small. We repair roofs, rainwater goods and outside woodwork before they become a bigger job.
About this work
Everything that keeps a building dry is on the outside of it, which is why exterior faults rarely stay the size they start at. Water that gets past the roof, the gutters or a window frame does not stay where it entered. It travels, and the damage usually appears somewhere other than the fault itself.
That is the awkward part of this work: the visible symptom and the cause are often in different places. A rusted soil pipe we replaced with PVC in Wood Green had an existing leak that needed resolving as well as the pipe itself. Crumbling window frames around a garage in Enfield were letting weather into the structure behind them. Tracing water ingress back to where it actually starts is a real part of the job.
Rainwater goods deserve more attention than they get. Gutters, downpipes and drainage are cheap to maintain and expensive to ignore. A blocked gutter puts water down a wall continuously, and that becomes a damp problem indoors long before anyone looks up at the guttering.
We repair and replace roof tiles, put right guttering, downpipes and drainage, and take on exterior woodwork including doors and window frames. Other outdoor work on our record includes a bespoke garden gate in Archway, composite decking in Walthamstow and concrete resurfacing in Enfield.

Can you find a leak when I do not know where it is coming from?
Tracing water ingress back to its actual source is part of this work. Where the damage shows and where the water gets in are often different places.
Do you repair guttering and downpipes?
Yes, guttering, downpipes and drainage. It is inexpensive work that prevents a far more expensive damp problem indoors.
Do you replace whole roofs or only repair them?
We repair and replace roof tiles. For anything beyond that, send photos and we will tell you honestly whether it is work we should be doing.
Do you take on other outside work?
Yes: exterior woodwork, doors and window frames, gates, decking and hard surfaces.
