If you have any question about this notice or about how your data is handled, contact us at contact@aten11.co.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. If you submit the quote form, that is:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your postcode
- The type of work and your description of the job
- Any photographs you attach
If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp instead, we hold whatever you send us in that message, including your phone number or email address.
We do not ask for, or want, special category data — information about health, ethnicity, beliefs or similar. Please do not include it. We do not take payment details through this website.
Photographs can carry embedded location data. If you would rather not share that, remove it before sending or describe the job in words instead.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out work, and keep records of work we have done.
Our lawful basis for responding to an enquiry and preparing a quote is legitimate interests — you have asked us to get in touch, and replying is what you would reasonably expect. Once you accept a quote, our basis becomes performance of a contract. Where we keep records for tax or insurance purposes, the basis is legal obligation.
We do not send marketing emails and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Who we share it with
We do not share your data except where it is necessary to do the work or to run the business:
- Our email and hosting providers, who process data on our behalf under contract
- Tradespeople or suppliers working with us on your job, where they need your address or job details to do it
- Our accountant, and HMRC or insurers where we are required to provide records
If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not go ahead: 12 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
- Customer records for completed work: 6 years after the end of the relevant tax year, which is the period required for tax and liability purposes.
Where your data is held
Your data is held in the UK and the European Economic Area wherever possible. Some of our providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, that transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
- Ask us to transfer your data to someone else
To exercise any of these, email contact@aten11.co. We will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or call 0303 123 1113. We would rather you raised it with us first so we can put it right.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or third-party analytics, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss. If that changes, this notice will be updated first.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date above. Where a change is significant, we will contact you directly if we still hold your details.
