Kitchen Fitting & Renovation
Kitchen installation and renovation, including the carpentry, tiling and making-good that turns a set of units into a finished room.
About this work
A delivered kitchen is a stack of flat boxes. What turns it into a room is everything that happens after: setting the units level and square against walls and floors that rarely are, fitting worktops, tiling the splashbacks, laying the floor, and making good where the old kitchen used to be.
That last part is the one most often underestimated. Removing an old kitchen leaves marks: tile scars, unpainted patches behind where units stood, flooring that stops short of the walls. A kitchen that is technically installed but visibly unfinished around the edges is a job half done, so we treat the making-good as part of the fit rather than as an extra.
We also take on smaller kitchen work where a full installation is not what is needed: adjusting and repairing existing units, or a kitchen window seal, as we did in Chigwell. A kitchen that mostly works and has two things wrong with it is a perfectly good reason to call.
Because the carpentry, tiling and flooring are all work we do ourselves, they happen in the right order and under one quote, rather than as three bookings you have to sequence between.
Our workmanship carries a 12-month guarantee, set out in our terms, and ATEN11 holds public liability insurance.

Common questions
Do you do the tiling and flooring as well as fitting the units?
Yes. Splashbacks, tiling and flooring are work we do ourselves, so they are part of the same job and the same quote.
Can you repair or adjust an existing kitchen?
Yes. Doors that no longer sit right, damaged units and failed seals are all worth a call, and the job need not be a full installation.
Is making good after the old kitchen included?
It is part of the fit, not an extra. A kitchen is not finished while there are tile scars and unpainted patches around it.
Do you charge for a kitchen quote?
